Fried Okra with Cayenne Mayonnaise
Ingredients:
12 Okra Pods, sliced into 1/2″ rounds
1 Egg, beaten
1 cup Cornmeal
1/2 tsp House Seasoning
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/2-1 cup Olive Oil

12 Okra Pods, sliced into 1/2″ rounds
1 Egg, beaten
1 cup Cornmeal
1/2 tsp House Seasoning
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/2-1 cup Olive Oil
Directions:
- Soak the Okra in the Egg for 10-15 minutes.
- In a plastic bag, combine Cornmeal, House Seasoning, and Black Pepper.
- Drop the Okra into the bag, seal, and shake coating the Okra wit the Cornmeal mixture.
- In a large skillet, heat the Olive Oil on medium heat, and add the dredged Okra.
- Stir constantly, until golden brown
- Remove to Paper Towel to dry
